Neurotoxins
Neurotoxin treatments, such as Botox® and Xeomin®, are popular non-surgical cosmetic procedures used to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. These FDA-approved injectables work by temporarily relaxing the muscles that cause dynamic wrinkles, such as frown lines, forehead creases, and crow’s feet, resulting in a smoother, more youthful appearance. At Monroe Lane Aesthetics in Orlando, we use neurotoxin treatments to help clients achieve natural-looking results with minimal downtime. Whether you're looking to prevent signs of aging or refresh your current look, our expert injector will customize your treatment plan for optimal results.

How to prepare for your neurotoxin appointment:
•Avoid over the counter blood-thinning medications such as Ibuprofen (Advil), Aleve, Motrin, and supplements including St. John’s Wort, Gingko Biloba, primrose oil, garlic, ginseng, and Vitamin E.
•If you take a blood-thinning medication that is medically indicated, continue taking it as prescribed and consult your medical provider before the day of your procedure for further guidance.
•Do not drink alcoholic beverages before your appointment.
•Arrive to your appointment with a clean face with no makeup.
•If you have a prior history of facial cold sores, due to the risk that the needle puncture could contribute to another cold sore, please start your anti-viral medication 3 days before your injection is scheduled and notify your provider that you have this medical history.
•Do not use if you are pregnant, are allergic to any of the ingredients, or suffer from neurological disorders.
